(screw cap bottle) Clear, golden colour with a mid-sized foamy white head. Sweet grainy malt aroma with herbal hops presence and traces of citrus. Moderately sweet, slightly bitter flavour, medium to light bodied, soft, slightly crispy mf. Solid malty, slightly grainy base with light herbal notes; moderately dry, malt-accented finish with a light herbal hops character. Another solid brew from Pyraser (25.05.07).

Bottle, 5.4%. Refreshingly citric aroma. Clear golden colour. Nice stable white head. The flavour has a bit of mold/horse. Mild hoppiness, sweet maltiness. Good mouthfeel.

500ml bottle at Reading BF 08. Gold, with lasting off white head. Restrained aroma, bit of yeast and grain. It’s a decent landbier in that it doesn’t do a lot, but what it does do, it does well. Some malt depth in mouth, some hop on end. Not exciting, but nothing horrible either.

"ein kleines dorf im frankenland ist durch sein gutes bier bekannt" unfortunately their cute saying is better than what i think of their beer. deep malty nose, golden bubbly appearance, quite sweet in flavour and fairly balanced. but forgettable.

Bottle at home ... crisp clear golden yellow ... nutty sweet hop aroma ... nutty malty lager... little sweet decent depth... a lager but actually quite good at that.

On tap at Huttn, Nurnberg 9/11/07. Golden coloured with a big white head. Semi-sweet malt aroma, with a touch of grassy hops. Flavour had some malt before a dry finish. A pretty good lager.
