COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Rotes Bier hat in Franken eine lange Tradition. Schon im Mittelalter wetteiferten Weiß- und Rotbierbrauer um die Gunst der durstigen Kehlen. Das mild abgedarrte Wiener Malz aus Pyraser Gerste gibt ihm Farbe und Charakter und eine behutsame Gabe Hersbrucker Aromahopfen seinen frischen Trunk und den typischen floralen Duft. 11,4% Stammwürze und ein Alkoholgehalt von 4,6% gibt dem Bier eine weiche Textur mit einer leichten Bittere und angenehmer Hopfenblume. Unser Pyraser Rotbier passt hervorragend zu Geflügel jeder Art, zu leichten Fleischspeisen wie Carpaccio und halbfestem Käse.

0,5l bottle at a friend’s place in Berlin, bought somewhere in southern Germany. Pours clear amber with a low head. Aroma is malts with some nutty notes. Flavor is slightly bitter lightly roasted malts with a bitter hoppy finish. Decent.

0,5 Flasche aus einem lokalen Getränkemarkt. Kupferfarbenes Bier mit reichlich Kohlensäure und einer cremigen bräunlichen Schaumkrone. Riecht nach Kaffee- und Röstaromen, leicht süßlich. Schmeckt sehr süß, minimal bitter. Sehr malzig. Sehr ausgewogen.

Tap, Hopfenreich, Kreuzberg, Berlin, 29/07/15. Earthy wet grass aroma with a hint of decaying rabbit hutch. Not a criticism. Pencil chews, dried fruit hints, honey and dates. Touch of praline, chocolate sprinkles to finish. A bit papery but with decent malts.

Bottle. Frothy White good mostly lasting head. Amber colour. Light malty and hoppy aroma. Light bitter flavor More herbal than caramellic. Average light bitter finish. Oily palate.
