Commercial Description:
Schwarz wie die Nacht – das muss man einfach probieren: Feiner Hopfen und die milde Würze von Röstmalz geben diesem Bier seinen runden und aromatischen Geschmack.

(screw cap bottle) Slightly hazy, very dark brown colour with a short and slightly tanned creamy layer. Light-sweet and moderately roasted malty nose with light notes of caramel. Moderately bitter flavour, light to medium bodied, crispy mouthfeel. Roast-malty taste with light notes of caramel; dry and bitter finish with a tinge of malty sweetness and dried fruity notes in the aftertaste (16.05.07).

Bottle from quinns on bus to trafalger square at 3:00am. Aroma is doughy, quite a bit of biscuit and slightly chocolate malt. Taste is similar, very malty and bready.
