Schwarz wie die Nacht – das muss man einfach probieren: Feiner Hopfen und die milde Würze von Röstmalz geben diesem Bier seinen runden und aromatischen Geschmack.

Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with stable off-white head. Clear aroma of hops, roast and malt. Bitter, roasty onset, giving way to malty and caramellish sweetness, ending dry. A decent and well-balanced Schwarzbier.

MichaelAwesome (5552) - Wanne-Eickel, North Rhine-Westphalia, GERMANY - MAR 20, 2013
Für ein schwarzes durchaus genießbar, da es zumindest nicht daherkommt, als sei es eingebraute Hühnerbrühe. Leicht nussig, bisschen karamell, einfach durchaus trinkbar.

Deepest clear black with low but steady head and medium body. Nose of malt. Taste of dark malt, nuts, brown bread and bittersweet chocolate. Very easy and nice to drink, clearly a very good Schwarzbier.

draft at Nurnberger Alm as Hausbier Alm-Schwarze.
roast / char focused nose with notes of harsh black tar like and lactic acid. crunchy and acidic and highly effervescent though decently frothy. medium-bodied, lightly sweet. flavors of burnt plum and burnt molasses and soy sauce show up with a small touch of minerallic licorice. probably not in great shape, but seems about on par with most other things to come out of this brewery.
