Bottled, thanks oh6gdx! Hazy mahogany colour, lively mildly gushing head. Dusty smoke and slight yeasty lemon upfront. Dry with light body and clean mouthfeel. First rain on hot, dusty asphalt, notes of licorice and citrus. Resinous metallic bitterness. Unpolished.

0.33 l bottle. Dark brown colour, not much of a head. Taste has dark malts combined with lots of hops. A kind of darkish pale ale or APA.

Simple one with just a bit of malt and some nuts. Drinkable, bit waterish and quite boring.

Bottle from trade with oh6gdx - many thanks to you, Patrik! Pours out in a deep dark amber-brown colour with low head and medium body. Aroma of torf, peat and roasted nuts. Taste of mild hops, roast, torf, woods, leaves, smoke and vanilla. Too toasty and smokey for me but not that bad.

Marstonlad (418) - Helsinki, FINLAND - MAY 17, 2014
Pours reddish dark brown with a medium-sized white head. Aroma features some sweetish malty notes, caramel, with dark fruitiness and a hint of hoppiness. Taste is medium sweet with the emphasis initially on slightly toasty maltiness, later on hoppy fruitiness. Caramel is paired with bread and some coffee, later also grapefruit appears. Hoppiness reaches its peak at the dry, long finish. The palate is nearly medium bodied which is a positive surprise, the texture slick and the carbonation average. This was surprisingly good: great balance between malty and hoppy elements!

Bottle. Ruby dark brown color. Caramel and red fruit in the aroma. Caramel, red fruit and a grassy hopbitter flavor. Earthy grassy finish.

330 ml bottle. Pours a dark brown colour with a white head. Aroma of sour red berries and some sweetness. Flavour of harsh grains, sour red berries, floral notes and nuttiness. Disturbing messy yeastiness as well. Light bodied and thin mouthfeel. Weird.

Mahogany, clear, thin film on top. Jazz is not dead it just smells funny. Nah, light malty aroma with red berries, bread, vegetable, ash. Light body, bit watery and fizzy, slight bitterness, dry, bitter finish is long but lacks flavors. Kinda watery and also lacks "it". Not jazzy at all to me, this should be full of nuances with lots of character or at least sophisticated. Now it is more like unskilled people trying to play jazz, sorry.

Bottle from rosenbergh, many thanks. Dark ruby brown color with huge beige head. Dark malt, citrus and floral hops in aroma. Taste, roasted malt, coffee overlapped with nice portion of citrus hops. Long hoppy bitter finish. Good.
