1l PETka from Pivkupectvi Zly Casy. Hazy golden colour, creamy white head leaving lacework. Full-bodied, pleasantly malty and delicious Saaz hops adding a herbal-spicy touch. Aroma and flavour: a Czech dvanáctka as it should be.

Clear pale body with huge foam. Aroma yeasty with noble hops in background. Taste is fruity with earthy notes coming with the biterness. Body is full, low carbonation. Unbalanced.

On tap at Hobit club (07/03/13). Really cloudy almost muddy yellow pour with creamy white foam. Really yeasty, unrefined, homebrew-like, peachy fruity notes, the light pils malt is totally crushed under layers of yeasty/estery aromas. Taste is also yeasty/fruity, there is a good hop finish however, if a bit astringent in the long run. Well carbed palate helps with the thick creamy body. Not particularly impressive, this was end of keg material (maybe it was?)

My Bottom Line:
This yeasty Svetly projects rough Saaz flavors and bitterness in a soft and natural mouthfeel.

Further Personal Perceptions:
-A frothy head of foam tops the turbid beige.
-There is no malt presence in this brew, no flavors AND barely any sugars. Quite strange for a Svetly.
-Mineral edges are tasted.
-There is no genius at play here, but this remains a flavorful, hoppy brew.

On tap at The Hobit Club.

Bottle @ End of the year, Odense Tasting 2012.1,5 L. Bottle from Pivni Rozmanitost. Pours hazy dark orange with a creamy head. Extreme diacetyl. Buttery. A bit of grass and grain beneath.

It’s not really a Christmas Tasting in Odense. Grainy malt aroma with diacetyl and a dusty note. Sweet malty flavour with a biscuit note, diacetyl and some herbal hops
