Bottle. Poured clear brown color with an average frothy off-white head that was mostly lasted with good lacing. Moderate sweet cherry and bourbon wood aroma. Medium to full body with a smooth texture and flat carbonation. Medium to heavy complex sweet flavor with a medium to heavy sweet finish of moderate to long duration. My expectations where exceeded.

Pours a clear dark amber brown color with a small off white head. The aroma has cherry, vanilla, caramel, wood, bourbon with a touch of alcohol burn. The flavor is much of the same; sweeter caramel, cherry, vanilla, bourbon and wood. The abv is noticeable, but not really distracting. An interesting beer for sure.

Bomber to taster (shared by me with the wife and friends). Looks good; a semi-transparent caramel with off-white head that dissipates into lacing. Smells and tastes solid; like every ingredient in the description. Good on the palate too. Good stuff.

I cant imagine a beer that is trying to be a cocktail more accurate than this. I think the bittering agent is key. The orange, cherry, bourbon barrel and Rye are all pretty spot on. Even the worry of too much slimy Rye is lifted. Crack this open with friends, wine drinkers who think all beer is the same, whisky lovers and the adventurous. Great job Kevin at Listermanns/Triple Digit

22 oz. bottle shared by Chris- thanks again, Chris! Pours a cloudy amber color with almost no head, just a tiny ring. Aroma of maraschino cherries, sweet caramel malts, toffee, brown sugar, and oak. The flavor is really a lot like a Manhattan; wow, pretty spot on. Bourbon and cherry sweetness. Medium-full bodied, with low carbonation and a boozy mouthfeel. Very boozy, actually. I’d age this one a while.
