COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Cask; Regular.
Our take on a classic American style, also our first ever beer. This dry hopped beer has bags of dark crystal malt to give sweetness, which is offset by the addition of US Bravo and Summit hops at all points in the boil to give 60 IBUs. The finished product, however, is well balanced and a great homage to the American craft brewers.

Cloudy amber beer with a thin creamy head. Hop and grapefruit aroma. Taste is very grapefruity and there is a smokey and nutty edge.

Draught schooner. Cloudy deep copper. Smallish off-white head that dissipates quickly leaving a little lacing. Aroma is mild and floral. Flavours similarly floral, some stone fruit, a little toffee, grapefruit. A decent malt backbone and a robust bitter finish. Pretty good.

Draught at The Hanging Bat, Edinburgh on 17 May. Poured a deep amber colour, with a thin white head. Aroma of toffee, ripe fruit and grassy hop. Grapefruit hop flavour, with some sticky fruit and hay. Finish was caramel, lightly toasted malt and resin.

Bottle from High Peak Beers, Stockport. Slightly hazy copper colour with thin to medium off white head. Aroma has toffee and american hops. Flavour hs lovely smooth hop character with more sweet malts and toffee, some fruit. Well done Quantum.

Bottle courtesy of dad consumed at home Tuesday 18th March 2014 Pours amber with a good clarity and a filmy white head there was almost certainly a bigger head but I sort of got stuck into it a bit swiftly. Soft in mouth but a huge bittersweet flavour explosion of citrussy hops. I rattled this down me in no time, so quick that my rating is a bit crap. A7 A4 T7 P4 Ov14 3.6

Bottle. Nose is grapefruit, lots of mango sorbet, pineapple and papaya. Taste is tropical fruits lead to malt and a short sharp resin and dry finish. Mouthfeel is slick. A nice American style ale.

Cask at ’munro’s’ Glagow. A dark amber ale, slim head, aroma had hops and dark fruit. Taste befitted the American IPA-style with the hops to go with it!

Cask at The Port Street Beer House, Manchester. Dark amber with a small head. Good lacing. Malt and fruity richness. Not my idea of an American ale, not as hoppy, but I liked it.

Half, cask ale at The Port Street Beer House. Dark amber coloured body. Almost headless. Nice lacing. Malt-fruity smell. Red orange in flavour with additional notes of mid-sweet malts. Lingering half-dry, bitter finish. A good one (Manchester, 07.07.2012).
