Cask Hawkshead BF. Interesting light mild. Pale gold, dry and malty with wheaty notes. Has all the old school mild characteristics, with the malt giving a bit of sweetness late on.

Nose is caramel leading to strong toffee waffle, with a very subtle herbal note at the end- very mellow and nice.
Taste biscuit, leading to lots of butterscotch, a touch of herbal hops in the end. Mouthfeel is a touch thin.
It’s so rare I have a mild that this was a real treat.
