Commercial Description: The legendary Irish Patriot, Brian Boru was said to be possessed by the Gods of two magical ales - one to affect his troops' battle worthiness, the other to aid in the post-battle festivities. The second was said to 'make merry the mighty and tangle their feet." The second was undoubtedly the more fun of the two. This is an ESB style ale with a pronounced kick from generous helpings of malt and hops from the British Isles.
medium to light brown color. nice, slightly thick body. this started off well, the malt and hop were battling it out, but at the end, i was left with an odd, somewhat metallic hop flavor.
