On gravity, at Barrow Hill Beer Festival - Rich brown body, with a soapy white head. Sweet dark fruit cake flavour, dark treacle or molasses. Thin mouth feel, the carbonation is minimal but there’s enough to ensure it’s not flat tasting. Rather subtle beer, lots of red wine analogies going on with this one.

Reddish. A bit weird and messy. Liquoricey, but sweet and yeasty too. Marmitey, even.
