jvmiller (288), Bel Air, Maryland, USA Jan 4, 2008 A fruity disaster. Dry, wheaty, watery. Raspberries unpleasantly abound. Reminds me of Propel flavored water. Don’t order this, please.
milljam (127), Norman, Oklahoma, USA Feb 11, 2008 If you had to drink Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, or this....which would you pick? I’d rather not drink.........its that bad. Watery, too sweet, raspberries are everywhere, and not in a good way. Save your money....and your palate. lumberjack (139), Michigan, USA Nov 10, 2007 On tap @ the brewpub in PH...I actually can appreciate a good fruit beer, but this isn’t one of them. The raspberry flavor is too fake and there isn’t anything else going on here. Really doesn’t even taste like beer at all in fact. Leave this one for the girls. muzzlehatch (4424), Burlington, Vermont, USA Aug 16, 2006 5 oz draught sample at the brewpub, late July 2006. Cloudy-translucent dark gold with absolutely no head and faint lacing....weak raspberry jam in the nose, not awful but somewhat artificial, nothing much else....sour wheat-malty body, fairly full with a faint tart fruitiness throughout, bit sticky....nothing going on here really. CharlesDarwin (1406), State College, Pennsylvania, USA May 7, 2006 On Tap at the Brewpub Pour of orange glinted murky amber yellow, clouded. Light rim of off-white. Aroma of candied raspberry in tootsie pop, distant and artificial. Ahh! What the hell. That’s disgusting! It’s the same as their straight wheat, only now it has this thick sickly syrup poured all over it, completely artifical, like Chinese candy. Gross.
