This is a wheat beer designed for easy drinking and to appeal to the masses. It serves it’s purpose, but doesn’t serve my stomach well. It is very generic and nothing I would want again.

12 ounce glass at the brewpub. Cleargolden. A pronounced raspberry aroma. Flavor is that, too. Berries are like what would come on ice cream and are sweeter and less bitter than expected. For what it is this is pretty good.

If you had to drink Sam Adams Cherry Wheat, or this....which would you pick? I’d rather not drink.........its that bad. Watery, too sweet, raspberries are everywhere, and not in a good way. Save your money....and your palate.

A fruity disaster. Dry, wheaty, watery. Raspberries unpleasantly abound. Reminds me of Propel flavored water. Don’t order this, please.

On tap @ the brewpub in PH...I actually can appreciate a good fruit beer, but this isn’t one of them. The raspberry flavor is too fake and there isn’t anything else going on here. Really doesn’t even taste like beer at all in fact. Leave this one for the girls.

muzzlehatch (4424) - Burlington, Vermont, USA - AUG 16, 2006
5 oz draught sample at the brewpub, late July 2006. Cloudy-translucent dark gold with absolutely no head and faint lacing....weak raspberry jam in the nose, not awful but somewhat artificial, nothing much else....sour wheat-malty body, fairly full with a faint tart fruitiness throughout, bit sticky....nothing going on here really.

auerbrau (3177) - Peace Dale, Rhode Island, USA - MAY 7, 2006
On Tap at the Brewpub Pour of orange glinted murky amber yellow, clouded. Light rim of off-white. Aroma of candied raspberry in tootsie pop, distant and artificial. Ahh! What the hell. That’s disgusting! It’s the same as their straight wheat, only now it has this thick sickly syrup poured all over it, completely artifical, like Chinese candy. Gross.

Pours cloudy straw with a short white head. Aroma of fresh sweet raspberries. Some citrus. Soft and good flavours but dull. Finishes sweet with icing sugar.
