| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | May 11, 2009 A bit of a darker ipa than I am used to. Seems to be pretty good at retaining the head. Nice floral hop character on the palate but does not stick around like an ipa should. I would say a medium bodied ipa here. You can tell this one is from the east coast as well. decaturstevo (2010), decatur, Tennessee, USA
| 2.9 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 11/20 | May 1, 2009 An almost copper pour with tight white head and lace. Aroma is light sweet malt and a hint of earthy hops. Flavor is all over the place. Starts out with a mediciny/perfumy like flavor followed by a pretty ok bitter finish. Carbonation is foamy almost exploding in your mouth. A tad watery as well. As the bottle went on the beer was a bit better. I’d hate to have rated it on the first 4oz. dkachur (2445), Charlottesville, Virginia, USA
| 3.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 4/5 | 6/10 | 4/5 | 13/20 | Jan 2, 2009 Twelve ounce bottle from the brewery. Pours a hazy caramel brown color with a medium head. Good head retention and poor lacing. The aroma is green apple, hops and caramel. Taste is bitter resiny hops with some caramel maltiness. Medium bodied. jcwattsrugger (5583), Florida and, New Jersey, USA

Aroma is medicinal, herbal, some medium malt-caramel. Taste is medium malt-nutty, herbal/leafy/metallic/spice hops. Thanks decaturstevo for picking this out. can8ianben (914), Pasadena, California, USA
| 3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 7/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 3/5 | 12/20 | Feb 11, 2007 almost can taste the malt extract, seems like a lower quality IPA. Has decent sharp taste, just not the malt backbone that you would want. maniac (2774), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 3.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 6/10 | 3/5 | 6/10 | 3/5 | 13/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Thanks to Kinz for kindly leaving this beer behind after the last Richmond Gathering. Slightly hazy amber color with a thick frothy white head. Sweet citrus hops aroma. Flavor of citrus hops with some light floral hops. River (25), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.1 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 3/10 | 3/5 | 4/10 | 2/5 | 9/20 | Jun 5, 2006 It has a golden body with a slight reddish tinge and a white head. A negligible clean smelling aroma drifts from the beer. This doesn’t taste like any of the IPA’s I’m used to. It has a pine-y, tar-y, grassy taste with some bitterness. It isn’t as hoppy as I would like. Numenor (869), Richmond, Virginia, USA
| 2.3 | Aroma | Appearance | Flavor | Palate | Overall | | 5/10 | 3/5 | 5/10 | 2/5 | 8/20 | Jun 5, 2006 Thanks to Kinz for abandoning this beer at maniac’s. Golden body with a very large off-white head. An aroma of pine and soap. A very bland body, nothing really hoppy about it, though there are some hints of light cinnamon. Cool, bland ending. Overall a rather dissapointing IPA.
