imdownthepub (4248), Banbury, Oxfordshire, England Sep 11, 2008 Bottled, filtered, 500ml from Quercus Brewery Bottleshop. Tawny bronze with white head. Initially it was just another malty bottled bitter, but this improved in the glass immensely. Rich malts with hints of roasty sweetness, full bodied bitterness and a lingering dry hoppiness. Really pretty good for a 4% bottled bitter. Magicdave6 (4092), London, Greater London, England Aug 25, 2008 Bottle from utobeer. Aroma is Light, moderate, heavy, harsh

Describes itself as a quaffing ale but certainly way above your run of the mill session bitter.
