33cl bottle. Dark red with medium, dirty head. Nose : tart, yeast, cooked cherries and other fruits. Sip : oily and smooth. Good carbonation. Sweet with strong cherry notes. A bit caramel makes it think of coca cola. Sour and cloying sweet.

Bottle - clear dark red with little head. Very strong but pungent fruity aroma. Sour tasting, apple and other fruit - not nice - not finished!

maekchu (3351) - Hirakata, JAPAN - JUN 1, 2016
Bottle from World Beer Market (Sake no Taniguchi). Sour fruit nose, with red wine, cherries, wood, and vinegar. Deep reddish-brown color. Tart cherry initial, sweet fruit, then goes sour again, wine, berries, and wood. Medium body, some fair astringency. Not quite a top-notch sour red (flavor has too much residual sweetness), but a pretty good one.

Draught at Delirium Ginza. Quite red fruit forward, mostly cherry with a sour edge, notes of candy, gentle sweet finish. Drinks like a light Duchesse, not amazing but decent and fairly smooth for the style.
