Great beer with a nice fruity aroma from the hops. Went well with the local fish and chips.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
341 ml bottle from Sherbrooke Liquor via Ryan (thanks!), served cool in a tulip glass.
App.: Clear copper with a decent tan head.
Aroma: Lots of grains/cereals, mashy, a bit of caramel/toffee, smells like caramel malt.
Palate: Medium body, moderate effervescence.
Flav.: Much like the nose, mainly caramel malt, grain/cereal, meh; dry with limited bitterness and a pleasant toffee finish.
Seem to recall this tasting better back in the day. Changes to the beer or to my palate...hard to say.

1.5 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 1/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Bottle courtesy of @kgamiller all the way from the Rock itself.Clear amber pour with a bubbly white head. Not at all what was expected. Clear amber pour with a bubbly white head, little retention.Aroma is stagnant grassy, vegetabley malts with a skunky hoppy note. Certainly hope this was a sour bottle mayhaps - as this was a buttery fart in a bottle. An ungodly mess unworthy of Newfoundland.

Not their best beer but overall pretty good. Not too much of an aftertaste. You can definitely taste the hops, beer was really fresh.

Sample at Picaroon's Brewer's Bash. Sweet, malty taste, light bitterness on the finish. Overall, rather British and sweet, but enjoyable.

Pint on tap. Small head, copper, clear. Nice light aroma, with sweet nuts and various malts. Nice balanced malty taste with toffee, has a bitter bite, but not piney at all. Very tasty, and a nice surprise in newfoundland!

Draft pour orangish copper. Nose caramel malt and slight vegetal smell. Taste initial sweet malt and toffee, minimal bitter finish.

Bottle. Pours a reddish-amber colour with an off white head which dissipates quickly. Smells smoky, almost "meaty". Tastes very interesting, again almost "meaty", yet very tasty. Not too much carbonation. I really like this beer, would buy again.

2.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
Beer pours a decent red-amber, with nice head that lasts OK and has some lace. Nice smelling beer here, with some good malt. Nice cereal smell with just some toastiness. Underneath there’s a bit of resiny turpentine smell, but that’s not too bad actually. Taste follows up a bit more of the resin than the malt, although the malt does come through in the aftertaste. Palate is kind of weak and thin. Overall, OK beer.

2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 10/20
Amber pour with minimal head which quickly dissipates. Malty sweetness with strong citrus notes of oranges and even grapefruit on the nose. Taste is similar with the citrus becoming more prominent. Mouthfeel is fairly thin. Overall a decent enough and readily available local ale which pairs well with pub fair. This should be drank chilled as it tends to become rather sickly tasting when it hits room temperature.
