1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20 RxForHealth (73) - - MAY 9, 2013
The only real novelty to this beer is the fact that it's made from an iceberg. There's nothing exceptional about it. Nothing remarkable, nothing worth having again. It is a Wonder bread beer.

1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20 Boutip (3971) - Gatineau, Quebec, CANADA - NOV 22, 2012
Bottle: Poured a super light yellow color lager with a medium size bubbly head with light retention and some light lacing. Carbonation is quite strong with a spritzer kind of feel. Aroma of light adjunct and bland taste is pretty boring. Taste is also quite bland with light gross adjunct notes. Body is very light with Sprite-like carbonation. I’m glad I finally got my tick for NFL but quite a bland beer at the end of the day.
2.5 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 asheft (2264) - Ottawa, Ontario, CANADA - NOV 7, 2012
[bottle]
Weak hay aroma with some fresh, herbal noble hops and a touch of sweet base malt. Crystal clear pale straw under a quickly receding white, thin cover that does not form lace. Pleasant, though weak, almost crisp base malt and noble hops flavour. Boring but not offensive. Light to medium body, medium carbonation, lingering hops and sour finish.
2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 rudolf (2276) - Buffalo, New York, USA - SEP 18, 2012
Pours a clear light yellow with a thin white head. Nose is light lemon and cereal notes with maybe a hint of herbal hops. Flavor follows with grain, light vegetal and overripe lemon. It isn’t bad but is kind of boring and nothing makes me want to keep drinking it.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 reebtogi (3262) - Edmonton, Alberta, CANADA - MAY 21, 2012
341ml clear bottle pours a pale straw color with a finger of white head that settles to some thin spotty lacing. Aroma is very mild cereal grains with a slight trace of hops. Taste is much of the same. A light body with abundant carbonation. A clean finish, which is not saying much as there is very little flavor. Below average macro style lager.

341ml blue bottle. Looks and smells likes apple juice. No real head. Sort of tastes like watered down apple juice....if anything. Very, very bland.
0.8 AROMA 1/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 1/20 alantor (2) - USA - DEC 30, 2011 does not count
Poured a yellow straw color from a blue glass bottle (only reason I gave it a 2 for appearance). This beer really didn’t taste too different from any of the other pale lagers from the big boys. It is kind of expensive for what it is. It poured with also no head and had very little aroma. I suppose this could be refreshing if served as cold as an iceberg on a hot day.

UPDATED: DEC 15, 2011 After becoming more beer aware, I now realize I was a bit to lenient on this product mainly because it was a local product. To be honest, it’s not as good as I thought it was the first time I reviewed it. I still like it much better than most of Quidi Vidi’s other products though.
Aroma: slight smell of corn (meh), Pours light urine color witbh a quick evaporating head, slightly sweet taste with a tweet aftertase. Not too offensive, but not overly great either.

Review from August 2009
I poured this into my glass and had to look at it twice to make sure there was beer in it. Faint straw colour with a surprisingly good white head and nice sticky lacing. Light aroma of grass, sweetness and grains.. all very light. No skunk. The taste is mild but totally drinkable - sweet malts and graininess, some cooked carrot juice and that’s about it. It’s a decent mouth swishing beer but that all caught up tome but the time I finished it feeling gassed up. Slight bitterness - why do I keep buying these beers?
1.4 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 alexchafe (29) - , Newfoundland, CANADA - JUL 30, 2009
pours up a light straw yellow, with a fairly vigorous carbonation. head is bubbly, white and completely gone in a second. quite aromatically challenged, with touches of sweet malt and vegetables on the nose. the flavour doesn’t provide much more pleasant and retains the strange syrupy palate of Quidi Vidi’s other lagers.
I can’t belive they market this as their flagship, "premium" beer. why is this so expensive??
