Review from August 2009
I poured this into my glass and had to look at it twice to make sure there was beer in it. Faint straw colour with a surprisingly good white head and nice sticky lacing. Light aroma of grass, sweetness and grains.. all very light. No skunk. The taste is mild but totally drinkable - sweet malts and graininess, some cooked carrot juice and that’s about it. It’s a decent mouth swishing beer but that all caught up tome but the time I finished it feeling gassed up. Slight bitterness - why do I keep buying these beers?

Bottle thanks to Paul (sorta thanks). First off don’t drink this after having ingested the juicy remains of pickled eggs...sorta destroys the palate...although truth be told it wouldn’t have mattered anyways and may have helped. Slightly hazy pale yellow with an off white head. Capable lager aroma with some stale caramel, a bit too sweet at the start and become almost cloying (for a lager) on the finish. Was hoping to have a crisp, clean delicious 10000 yr old beer but this was not it...o well. Novelty was interesting though...if you ignore the environmental impact.

Bottle- Pours pale yellow from the clear bottle with a fizzy white cap. Nose of grains and weak yeast, pale malts and grassy hops. Tastes of sweet pale malts, straw, cooked veggies, some grassy hop bitterness. Thin and slightly sweet finish with a slight bitterness. Just ok.

Derek brought, actually not bad. light refreshing not alot of flavor, but a little hop and malt in there certainly better then say MGD.

Bottled sample from friend in Newfoundland. Very light tasting. Like a lite beer. Not bad ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Sample at Picaroon's Brewer's Bash. Just about the palest pale lager I've ever tried. Hardly any colour, aroma or taste, but it oddly works. Reminds me of putting snow in my mouth and letting it melt. I can see why people who favour strong stouts or IPAs would have no use for this beer, but it is bizarrely refreshing. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Had to try it, come on, it’s made from iceberg water. Draft very light pale yellow. Plenty of champagne bubbles. Nose minimal sweet malt. Taste typical pale lager, but minimal skunk. Very light.

341ml blue bottle. Looks and smells likes apple juice. No real head. Sort of tastes like watered down apple juice....if anything. Very, very bland.

Extremely light beer, not a load of aroma. Refreshing though, and the blue bottle somehow makes it better. No off-aromas or off-tastes, so I would suggest this over many macro-lagers.
