2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 8/20
Light lasting whit froth on plae gold. Almost no aroma. Sweet with a light grassy vegetable. A hint of alcohol at the finish may indicate that you don’t want it to warm up.

2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
341ml clear bottle pours a pale straw color with a finger of white head that settles to some thin spotty lacing. Aroma is very mild cereal grains with a slight trace of hops. Taste is much of the same. A light body with abundant carbonation. A clean finish, which is not saying much as there is very little flavor. Below average macro style lager.

2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Review from August 2009
I poured this into my glass and had to look at it twice to make sure there was beer in it. Faint straw colour with a surprisingly good white head and nice sticky lacing. Light aroma of grass, sweetness and grains.. all very light. No skunk. The taste is mild but totally drinkable - sweet malts and graininess, some cooked carrot juice and thatís about it. Itís a decent mouth swishing beer but that all caught up tome but the time I finished it feeling gassed up. Slight bitterness - why do I keep buying these beers?

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Had to try it, come on, itís made from iceberg water. Draft very light pale yellow. Plenty of champagne bubbles. Nose minimal sweet malt. Taste typical pale lager, but minimal skunk. Very light.

1.9 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 8/20
Extremely light beer, not a load of aroma. Refreshing though, and the blue bottle somehow makes it better. No off-aromas or off-tastes, so I would suggest this over many macro-lagers.

1.8 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
UPDATED: DEC 15, 2011 After becoming more beer aware, I now realize I was a bit to lenient on this product mainly because it was a local product. To be honest, itís not as good as I thought it was the first time I reviewed it. I still like it much better than most of Quidi Vidiís other products though.
Aroma: slight smell of corn (meh), Pours light urine color witbh a quick evaporating head, slightly sweet taste with a tweet aftertase. Not too offensive, but not overly great either.

1.7 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
The only real novelty to this beer is the fact that it's made from an iceberg. There's nothing exceptional about it. Nothing remarkable, nothing worth having again. It is a Wonder bread beer.

1.7 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 2/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle thanks to Paul (sorta thanks). First off donít drink this after having ingested the juicy remains of pickled eggs...sorta destroys the palate...although truth be told it wouldnít have mattered anyways and may have helped. Slightly hazy pale yellow with an off white head. Capable lager aroma with some stale caramel, a bit too sweet at the start and become almost cloying (for a lager) on the finish. Was hoping to have a crisp, clean delicious 10000 yr old beer but this was not it...o well. Novelty was interesting though...if you ignore the environmental impact.

1.5 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 5/20
Clear metallic golden beer; fine & dense white head. Dry malts/grains nose for an instant, then the ominous smell of rotting gras rises... lightstruck. First taste nothing but CO≤ fizziness, slightly sourish. Then dull grassy malts, again with sulphury decay notes. Very fizzy MF, and utterly empty. Why the Dickens did they need to ruin the icebergsí purest water with just enough malt and hops to make catty lightstruck possible? Clear glass abomination. Thanks for hauling it in, nonetheless, Stef C!
