Seems like a malted, colored very low-quality pilsner. Not a big fan, love the country but not this beer.

like quilmes stout, I don´t think this one is a bock. one of the worst beers I have ever try, it has a funny smell, and the taste.....a disgusting beer.

Smells a little bad, taste is a bit fuller than Quilmes cristal and I guess that’s why I remember it being alright, but fresh off decent beer it doesn’t have much going for it. Slight hint of bitter, that’s it.

Pours amber and light berown colour with a timid brown head foam. Malty nose with presence of some caramel and dough. Malty taste but refreshing, light sweetness, very light bitterness. It gets a bit flat flavour at the end. Light body, thin feel, average carbonation and a sweet and very light after taste. Ok to try.

Bottle. Pours a deep golden amber/brown with a beige head. Sweet cereal aroma with notes of molasses and a hint of vanilla. Cloying. Cooked vegetables and notes of chocolate as it warms. Flavour is sweetish and malty with citrus hops in the background. Feels a bit watery. Bitter malty finish. Lingering notes of citrus hops and a bit of liquorice. Gets better as it warms and flavour is way better than the aroma, as there are no cereal notes here. 06.02.11.

Bought a liter of this beer while living in Buenos Aires, and poured it into a wine glass to drink. The beer had a malty aroma with a strong caramel presence, along with some fruit, molasses, and a bit of grainy scents. It had a dark brown color, with a slight ruby hue, and a good-sized creamy off-white head that had pretty good retention and a lot of cling. The taste was somewhat sweet and malty, but also had a bitter grain effect. Its body was creamy and smooth, mostly wet, and had a decent amount of fizz and carbonation. Overall the beer had a lot of good characteristics, but the taste was its weakest component.

Bottled 970ml. -Dark amber coloured, medium sized pale beige head, caramel nose. Toasted malt, caramel and slight alcoholic with faint fruity notes (plums). Bit sweet but in comparison with Quilmes Cristal pleasant surprise.

Bottle in Buenos Aires, Argentina. Interesting cherry malt aroma. Chestnut brown colour. Bland malty flavour. Disappointing.
