on of the easiest to find good beers in Argentina, slightly chocolatey slightly malty and a bit of milk in the finish. Very solid for as available and cheap as it is

The beer has a beautiful dark color. The color is a perfect ruby red and the beer has a lovely red glow. The beer is crystal clear. The beer pours a decent amount of slightly tinted foam. The bulk of the foam collapses very fast, but a tiny drape of foam remains on top of the beer. The smell of the beer is very nice. The smell is a little bit creamy. I also smell some roasted barley, some licorice and some cherries. The later isn’t that strong though. I smell a little bit of alcohol. The taste has a little bit more of the roster barley. The beer has a nice bitter taste, but it is balanced nicely by a sweet fruitiness. You can taste the alcohol better than you could smell it. The beer has a lot of roast aromas and flavors for a bock beer and fewer sweet caramel and syrup aromas and flavors, however, this isn’t disturbing at al. It is a nice variation.

Bottle. Pours translucent ruby brown with small head. Nose is marginally interesting with some caramel notes and a bit of landfill, flavor is slightly sweet with a tang of poorly made candybar, finish is slightly chalky and has some cocoa-ish flavor. This tasted better at the asado after 3 bottles of wine had already been finished - maybe that’s its purpose?

A pretty bad bock if you ask me. Faint sweet malt taste and aroma, but pretty watery and bland.
