2.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 4/20 Nekronos (3183) - Xalapa, MEXICO - JUL 20, 2009
Not bad, a little out of what I know as a Bock, but it’s not the first time I find a Bock like this in Latin america. It was nice and creamy, not too strong in taste and veyr nice head.

Bottle in Buenos Aires. Brown color with a diminished brown head. The aroma as malts, caramel and a little ginger. Smooth and dry with a light malts, cereal and musty flavors.
1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 4/20 TheGrandMaster (2335) - Auckland, NEW ZEALAND - OCT 18, 2007
Bottle, dark brown with a thick foamy beige head. A malty aroma with some coffee. Very dry palate, a little flavourless and a bit burnt.

2.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20 drpimento (1936) - La Crosse, Wisconsin, USA - FEB 27, 2005
UPDATED: MAY 20, 2005 I brought this particular can of beer back with me a while ago. But it’s still clear and actually tastes better than I remember! Must be due to the alcohol. I was immediately impressed by the pronounced flavor upon my first sip. It’s a flavor that dissipates after a while though. Nice lace on the glass and a light lingering head. The color is that of a traditional brown ale. This beer is much better than I remember. I’d suggest for the patient to get a case and sock it away for a while, taking out a can or bottle once per month over a year or two. I bet it gets much better. Go Quilmes! I had orignially anticipated that the color was only from malt syrup added, but perhaps there is more going on here. Not bad, not bad....
2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 solidfunk (1790) - Ontario, CANADA - DEC 10, 2011
Smells a little bad, taste is a bit fuller than Quilmes cristal and I guess that’s why I remember it being alright, but fresh off decent beer it doesn’t have much going for it. Slight hint of bitter, that’s it.
2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20 NosirIwont (1721) - Aalborg Vestby, DENMARK - FEB 7, 2011
Bottle. Pours a deep golden amber/brown with a beige head. Sweet cereal aroma with notes of molasses and a hint of vanilla. Cloying. Cooked vegetables and notes of chocolate as it warms. Flavour is sweetish and malty with citrus hops in the background. Feels a bit watery. Bitter malty finish. Lingering notes of citrus hops and a bit of liquorice. Gets better as it warms and flavour is way better than the aroma, as there are no cereal notes here. 06.02.11.
2.1 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20 Maverick34 (1712) - New York, USA - NOV 6, 2009
Draft in Arg. A bit sweet. Not really a bock. Just a dark latin american beer. I switched back to regular Quilmes right after, if that’s any indication.
2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20 Stine (1434) - Minneapolis, Minnesota, USA - JUL 5, 2007
Toffee colored pour with a head that sprays carbonation. Nose of cinnamon and powdered sugar on toast. Vague, strange sweetness. Tastes of sour fruit, white grapes, palpable sugars. Palate is void and very loose. Kind of intriguing for its weirdness but not in a favorable way.
1.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20 ghawener (1377) - San Salvador, EL SALVADOR - NOV 26, 2006
Bottle: Quite flat and boring for a ´bock´ beer, very close to it’s brother brew. Watery, plain, boring. Heineken do something here, you’re dying!
