Pinball (2693), Allerød, Denmark Aug 14, 2008 335 ml bottle, carrefour, mallorca, sain. sweet an d mild aroma clear yellow small white head. ordinary pale lager, a little sweeter, a little less bitterness and not much power to the flavor. aftertaste is dominated by sweet tones. SpudClampDawg (1027), Jasper, Indiana, USA Aug 6, 2008 12oz bottle: The appearance has to be the best thing about this beer. Lemony yellow bottle with a firm, bright white head. The cap remains firm throughout, leaving some sticky lace on the way down. The beer really becomes more commonplace from here. Stale, corny nose. The body has a light honey sweetness that covers up some of the dirty, vegetal DMS below. Finishes crisp and dry. Not a bad pale, boil off some of that DMS and this would improve vastly. BeerBiker (1384), Odense, Denmark Aug 5, 2008 Bottle. Yellow fluid with hard good head. Straws and weak hops ending up sweet in the heat. Ok beer. greenmanalishi (294), Leicestershire, England Jul 30, 2008 pale and insipid but atleast it’s clean i suppose. a lot like kirin ichiban, but better than the chemically metallic nastiness of say carling. iammarc (193), Inverness, Scotland Jul 28, 2008 30cl bottle. Not bad tasting, had better though. Thin tasting, quite clean. Good balance between water and beer. Yellow pale colour, short lasting head if any. Refreshing. NJBeerman013 (764), Trenton, New Jersey, USA Jul 27, 2008 Bottle. I have had a lot of pale lagers that were far worse than this one, however, it doesn’t have quite enough going for it to compare to some of the offerings comming out of say Germany. Hence why it got exact marginal ratings. This beer is perfectly crystal clear yellow, with a big frothy head. It has a clean, crisp aroma compared to the skunk that usually accompanies pale lagers from South America. The flavor is mild, hoppy, with a little bit of cereal grain filler. It has a medium body, and a clean finish. Pretty good. sirPino (855), Zawiercie / Żywiec, Poland Jul 27, 2008 No: 379

Bottle brown, 330 ml
Appearance: Pours pale golden, yellowish body colour, highly carbonated like a fizzy drink, head is white, quite quickly decreasing and finally almost completely disappearing, despite the small crown of froth, head is foamy in texture, there are some traces of lacing.
Aroma: Very weak notes of cereal and citruses, a bit lemony, gentle hoppyness, quite good but lacking intensity.
Flavour: Very surprisingly interesting, front has the hints of mould cheese and mould itself but very positive, assertive, old putrid wood, woody - nuty with softness ans sweetness on palate, salty, well carbonated, chewy, very interesting and well balanced, rounded flavour. I am really positively surprised due to such an interesting and unusual flavour of this exotic beer for Polish standard. It was very hard to get and the price was quite high. For this price I could have ’Chimay Blue’ but as I said, it’s still worth a try. Finish duration is medium.
Palate: Body is light, texture is wattery but a bit sweety, carbonation on palate is soft, finish feel is chalky, bitter and a bit sweet, well balanced flavour.
douglas88 (1556), Salt Lake City, Utah, USA Jul 22, 2008 Updated: Aug 18, 2008A bunch of bottles of this was bought by Kellie in Chicago, thanks. Pours a clear golden color with a medium white foamy head. The aroma was full of funky malts, and some metallic notes. The taste was pretty smooth; a basic lager, with sweet malts, some corn and a bit of bready notes. Overall, a decent pale lager for the mid-morning or 5AM.
