Pale lager appearance, not surprising for a pale lager. Pale lager taste. A bit grassy. Average, can’t say too much. Miksu (2194), Jyväskylä, Finland Jul 1, 2008 0.33 l bottle. Pale golden color with small head. The aromas of malt, caramel and honey. Thin and dry malt flavor with
honey as well as hints of paper and metal. gwelch925 (31), Taylor Mill, Kentucky, USA Jun 30, 2008 Bottle. To be perfectly honest, when I go out and pick up random beers the first thing I do is check their ratings on ratebeer. So when I come home to see that a beer is made by InBev, I die a little inside. Anyways. Quilmes Cerveza is a golden brew that pours a big head so if I had to do it over again I would have chosen a lager glass. If you don’t have a lager glass just use whatever you have since First of all the head dissipates in a rapid fashion and secondly I doubt this beer is hiding any mystical flavors that can be only released with the proper glassware. Besides hops there is nothing else distinctive about the aroma. Flavors of hops, a little bitterness, and a very very faint whisper of fruitiness. It is a drinkable beer ,but not one that you would drink for the sake of drinking beer. jalichio999 (502), Brazil Jun 29, 2008 Garrafa, junho de 2008. Coloração amarelada, com um creme razoável, denso no início, mas com pouca duração. Presença de lúpulo no aroma e no sabor, mas poderia ter mais. No mais, típica pale lager, sem destaques positivos ou negativos. djtoucan (42), Tokyo, Japan Jun 28, 2008 If it’s hot and humid where you live you might like this more than I rated it. It’s nothing but a watery smooth golden hop taste. Bottle I got from Hanamasa has it labeled they use some form of Alginic acid, corn and rice to make this beer. Not bad. Works for Japan. But if it’s not humid where you live this beer will feel like you are drinking tap water. UnholyBrewing (448), Melbourne(Mulgrave), Australia Jun 23, 2008 ...bottle. Well, nothing amazing here at all. If it wasn’t the difference in hops from other commercial pasturised lagers, there really would be nothing to set it apart from the others. Light bodied, light color with almost no head, but goes down very smooth, no flavor. I guess that’s just how it is in Argentina. ethomson (56), Huntington Beach, California, USA Jun 19, 2008 Very crisp, I was pleasantly surprised with it. It’s very mild and goes down very smooth, almost as if it were a light beer. Overall pretty good beer to enjoy, but nothing to write home about, because it’s light quality kind of lowers it’s lack of flavor.
