DownsouthGav (602), Greater London, England Apr 20, 2008 Bottle from Oddbins. Pours a pale skunky beer. No redeeming features. Cereals and other horros are noted on the palate. To be avoided. hayduke (1621), Eureka, California, USA Apr 14, 2008 Well I paid $1.69 for this bottle. Poured clear gold with nice white head. It had a light malt character and light hops. Light mouthfeel. Sort of reminded me of Bud, but was actually better. Better than I expected. BMan1113VR (2758), Los Angeles (and Dallas), Texas, USA Mar 26, 2008 Quilmes Cerveza. Pretty underated in my opinion. Large, rocky, white head with suprisingly good lacing. Deep gold color. Grassy hop aroma with some alcohol. Little bit of straw malts also detectable. Bitter flavor, not bad at all. kidmartinek (972), austin, Texas, USA Mar 22, 2008 Oh wow, pour a glass of half foam, and the rest and faint pale yellow lager, evidence of influenced by a crappy american pale lager? (budweiser) naw! A few bubbys from the yellow clear watery liquid. Smells like weak grain. Tastes like pale adjunct grain malts, (rice primarily) and some sugar (corn syrup). Boring mouthfeel. Plain, no character. Reminds me of eating honeycomb cereal with skim milk. Will it go drown the drain? Yes. Haslinger (640), Syracuse, New York, USA Mar 21, 2008 not sure what to say about this one. It is incredibly bland, not in a really bad way. there just isn’t much happening in this beer. It is refreshing. I wouldn’t buy again but not too bad. If this is the Budweiser of Argentina then more power to them. It’s better TaxiDriver (910), Stadland, Germany Mar 17, 2008 Bottle. Moderate hoppy, light sour. Small white fizzy head, fast and fully diminishing. Yellow sparkling body. Light sweet, short duration. Light body, watery texture, lively carbonation. Nothing special. asedzie (453), San Francisco, California, USA Mar 9, 2008 Bottle. Pours clear golden with generous, fluffy white head. Aroma is grassy, with doughy background. Flavor is mild breadiness a faint bit of sweetness, just a touch of adjunct grain heaviness, followed by mild herbal hoppiness, finish has extremely light bitterness. Thin bubbly palate. ChrisTurner (202), Melbourne, Australia Mar 9, 2008 Bottle -- Pours with an OK frothy white head with a touch of retention and lacing. Clear yellowy gold with very few bubbles. Aroma is chemically grass and pretty unpleasant. Crisp flavour with some pilsener-like bitterness. Not a lot of aftertatse. Not absolutely revolting but certainly a below average macro lager.
