rmussman (905), California, USA Aug 31, 2007 Sampled, it was a relatively smooth malt beverage. (tasted almost like Mickey’s) Overall the aroma is fair, the appearance is just pale with no interesting effects. kimcgolf (822), Dacula, Georgia, USA Aug 26, 2007 Poured from the bottle to a highly carbonated light yellow, with thin white head that dissipates quickly and leaves little lacing. Aroma was slightly hoppy and indiscriminate, and the mouthfeel was tingly due to the carbonation. Flavor was on the floral-grassy-hoppy side, and fairly decent. Finish was smooth and of medium duration.
While not a great beer, this was not actually too bad, especially for a South American beer. mzzr (8), Argentina does not count Aug 17, 2007 A simply industrial lager. What can I say? No body, no taste... maybe on a hot summer day... No, I´d prefer a diet coke berkshirejohn (1760), Bracknell, Berkshire, England Aug 5, 2007 330ml bottle - "Quilmes Cerveza" Typical pale straw body with a white head; slightly stale, malty aroma; flat malty taste and dry finish. SudsMcDuff (1691), was CapeTown,SA-now Houston, Texas, USA Jul 16, 2007 Had this sixer while making dutch style pancakes with Jess....Pours like every other lager in the world.... has a good/decent head... straight up easy going beer... an avergae lager in most respects.... non offensive... maybe an everyday day lager... "relax and enjoy life" ... jredmond (1015), New Jersey, USA Jul 8, 2007 12 oz bottle. I thought this pale lag was actually really refreshing.Only complaint was a very brief aftertaste of something I couldnt put my finger on, but I would def try this beer again..thanks argentina! lb4lb (2011), Austin, Texas, USA Jul 8, 2007 Updated: Jul 16, 2007Light yellow watery color with medium lasting white head. Smell is malty and yeasty. Became stronger as it warmed. Taste is light flavored and bodied, with a malt biscuity yeasty flavor. A touch doughy flavored for me, but drinkable when cold. Nothing special here. bhensonb (4182), Woodland, California, USA Jul 6, 2007 Sort of a yeasty aroma backed by light malt. Brassy golden color with a white head that’s respectable. A bit thin. Fizzy. Sort of a corn flavor, but there is some decent grassy bitter. For some reason the balance suggests white grape. The finish is a bit veggy, and not very bitter.
