hombrepalo (748), Chicago, Illinois, USA Mar 8, 2007 Updated: Dec 6, 2007sort of a weak beer, very watery and reminds me of fosters. Love to drink this stuff at ñ in chicago. 22 oz giantsaholic (1), USA does not count Mar 6, 2007 I love this. I have no idea why it isn’t more popular. I need to find more of it. Ibrew2or3 (2714), Safety Harbor, Florida, USA Mar 2, 2007 Coming right out of the bottle it really looks like just crystal clear water. In the glass where you can see through more liquid it takes on a slight yellow hue. A tiny white ring of foam hung around the rim for a while. The aroma is grainy malts, sweet malts and a bit of metal. The flavor is a little too sweet for me with sweet malts, tasteless water, tasteless water and another hint of sweet malts. If I really concentrate I think there’s some hops too. Oh, did I mention it tastes like water? TheBeerLover (1019), DC Metro Area, USA Feb 26, 2007 12 oz can. Pours to a bright, golden color, with a tight, white head that fades, and a light carbonation. The nose is sweet, with aromas of grain and corn. The palate offers much of the same. Some grainy, and sweet corn flavor, on a lean, watery palate. This beer finishes with more grainy/corn up front, the ends with some light corny sweet flavor. Average in every sense of the word. A thirst quencher served ice cold in hot weather, but that is about as good as it gets. rcharding (1), Nowhere, Alaska, USA does not count Feb 21, 2007 Servicible Argentine brew for a not Buenos Aires summer day, but given the choice, I have a Malbec wine instead. This beer is the Budweiser of Argentina. bgiamatei (225), São Paulo, Brazil Feb 16, 2007 Cerveja pilsen argentina. Mais forte e encorpada que as pilsen comuns brasileiras. Quase sem espuma. Levemente adocicada com um amargor final também leve. Achei um pouco pesada, não tão refrescante. Grovlam (3790), Copenhagen, Denmark Feb 6, 2007 Bottle. Head was spare to small with a white slightly frothy sparkle. Spare lacing. Clear slightly sparkling body. Color was pale yellow. Aroma was light grain, hay, grass and with some notes of flowers. Light bodied with a thin texture and an average carbonation. Light sweet flavor with light notes of bitterness. Short finish. geographylists (26), San Diego, California, USA Feb 5, 2007 Updated: Feb 6, 2007On Tap. Basically a Heineken clone, but lighter. Overall, not a whole lot of substance or flavor in this beer, but nothing particularly offensive either. Argentina is a definitely better with its wines than its beers.
