Drew (2406), Kent, Ohio, USA May 4, 2005 I received one of those "Beers Of The World" world market gift packs from one of my managers as an appreciation gift. Interesting - I don’t think I’ve had this one! Light yellow, medium head, no lacing. Aroma is sweet malt, taste is sweet -almost like someone stirred in a spoon full of sugar. Another one of those hot weather brews, don’t go out of your way to get it. Thanks John! ThomasE (5179), Copenhagen, Denmark Apr 30, 2005 Golden colour with a thin white head. Malty aroma with a bit of sweetness. Very weak flavor of corn and a watery mouthfell. raymow (738), Bensalem, Pennsylvania, USA Apr 27, 2005 I wanted to like this one, but, it was not to be! Not very refreshing (or good tasting, for that matter). And bad coloring to boot!
Oops - I forgot to put in my numbers (although they’re not much hbetter than all ones)! sfontain (506), Columbus, Ohio, USA Apr 25, 2005 Light yellow with a small, white, soapy head. Aroma is light with slight skunk; some sweetness but nothing descript in the nose. Flavor is weak; just barely metallic with a tiny touch of hops. Thin; heavily carbonated. If this is "Argentina’s Favorite Beer," I’d hate to be drinking in Argentina on swill night. thegreenrooster (1811), St.louis, Missouri, USA Apr 23, 2005 Pour is a pale yellow with a soapy looking head. Aroma is weak and slightly skunky. Flavor is corny and grainy with some lemon zestyness. Overall pretty bland. Oh well another country rated. OhioDad (2491), Hilliard, Ohio, USA Apr 11, 2005 Pale yellow and amost see through. Almost a sour aroma and it doesn’t get much better when you taste it. Lots of carbonation very light to taste and on the palate. Not very good. I think I’ll stay away from Argentina if I’m thirsty. joet (1699), Fulton, California, USA Apr 9, 2005 Thin, light lager, faintly light tan body, very little bitterness, not much here but props for not being offensive boto (1319), Granby, Connecticut, USA Mar 27, 2005 12oz. Bottle: I saw this and decided to try a beer from a country that I had not yet sampled one of their beers. It pours into the glass a plae yellow color, and is pretty clear. A big white head that fizzes down rapidly. There is a good bit of carbonation to the beer. There is a sweetness to the nose, but it is mostly just sweet with a general lack of character. Maybe a hint of honey. The taste is definitely light. There is a bit of a sweetness to the taste, with a slightly dry finish. Incredibly non-descript and forgettable.
