Bottle. Medium high fluffy and quickly disappearing head. Clear golden body. Standard barley malt aroma, OK. More bitter than expected and with a good deal of carbonation. Short aftertaste but quite refreshing in the Argentinean sunshine of 30 degrees celsius.

Had this bottle under the label Quilmes Cerveza (pretty color scheme)....smells like a cheap beer, Heineken aroma and a bud-like taste...yellow white foam, weird aftertaste like malt liquor...$3.25 for Argentina’s favorite beer, thats a shame

I don’t know about the "cristal" name. The one I drank, it was only "Cerveza Quilmes". A pilsen average. No too much flavor.

Bottle from State Line. I think this one pops my "Q" cherry. Pale gold pour with decent sized head and a lot of carbonation streams. Aroma and taste are hopcitrus, pale malt, and mild thiols. Watery palate that actually stays drinkable and non offensive enough to prevent a portioned drain pour.

12 ounce bottle purchased in Buenos Aires in 2002 with a special summer label. Nothing else to say.

Clear yellow with a fizzy and soapy white head. Aroma slightly soapy, possibly a little cork-like as well. Flavor is bland with a generic lager flavor.

My bottle didn’t say Cristal on it. Anyway, my first and possibly last Argentinian beer. Standard lager pour with foamy white head. Smells like any common American macro beer. Weak flavor of I don’t know what. Didn’t even go that well with my Argentinian skirt steak.

I had this in Punta Cana. It wasn’t great, but it rescued me from the Presidente beer. It did have some sweet grainy flavors.
