Lager??Reminds me of my favorite beer style.NOT!!A small sized creamy white head with fine-small sized bubbles that quickly dissipated. The body was carbonated and clear with a yellow hue.The nose was malty, hoppy and fruity with a hoppy flavor. The mouthfeel was tingly, thin, watery and medium bodied. The lacing was very sparse.

2.2 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 9/20
This brew poured a medium sized head of fine to medium sized white bubbles that left behind no lacing and a transparent yellow carbonated body. It had a mild malt hop aroma and a smooth bubbly mouthfeel with a slight tingle in it finish. The flavor was nothing special and reminded me of a typical APA rice beer with a flavor of moslty hop and malt. It is probably best used as a thirst quencher on a hot summers day.

1.8 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Clear golden colour with a thin (1 centimetre) white head. Smells of caster sugar, even more sweetness and a tiny bit of malt. No hops detectable in the aroma, maybe they aren't prominent in Argentina! Light-bodied; Strong american macrobrew flavour along with a slight skunkyness. No horrible offensive tastes with this one, just one that isn't too pleasing. Very light and thin, and a slight medicinal flavour after a few seconds of letting it rest on your palate. Aftertaste filled with a bit of sweetness, a tiny bit of the malt and generally a large amount of the american macro-brew crap taste. If you are attempting to try different beers from around the world, try this one (as it pays respect to Boca Juniors), but don't expect too much! I bough this twelve ounce bottle from Total Wine in Chantilly, Virginia.

UPDATED: FEB 21, 2007 Bottled. Pale golden. Neutral aroma. Fruity with clean mouthfeel. A touch of crystal malt flavour and a lot of emptiness. No bitterness.

2.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
I tried a bottle of this one only because it was from Argentina. Poured yellow and fizzy with a foamy white head that diminished rapidly. Malty aroma with crisp citrus hops. Unbalanced flavor, malts initially then overpowered by spicy, tart hops (and not in a good way like a west coast IPA) then fading to an astringent, puckering finish. Light body and lots of carbonation. Not quite a drain pour but certainly not a repeater.

1.5 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 1/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 6/20
Plain malt-ish aroma. Fizzy yellow color, and almost no head. Nothing that makes me want to run to argentina for it.

Sweet, ricy flavor like so many beers from developing countries. Not really bad, but nowehere near what I'd call a good beer.
