2.4 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not much too see here. Mediocre taste, aroma, appearance and palate. I tried this beer only out of curiosity. They say itís Argentinaís favorite one beer, and that goes a long way toward explaining why that country isnít known for its brewing culture.

2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 5/20
Bottle. Average yellow pour. Thin white head but with some lacing on the glass. Very grainy aroma and flavor. Iíve found that except for Mexican beers most beers in Central/South America and the Caribbean have very grainy aroma, flavors, and textures. Nothing horrible here nor memorable.

2.3 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Pours a straw pale yellow with a medium lasting white head. moderate lacing. Aroma and taste is of grains, hay with light malt notes and maize. A light to medium body and mild carbonation on the palate. Finish is sweet mild grains and grassy flavors and light fruity notes. Overall a somewhat muted and bland brew, but ok for a hot summer day.

Bottle poured into a straight glass. Nothing to separate this from any other pale lager, really. Refreshing enough.

2.3 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 10/20
355ml/12floz bottle into a mug; served cold.
Aroma: Mostly just light cereals. No real corn smell is apparent.
Appearance: Clear, pale gold body with a foamy, but dissipating, white head. Nice lacing though.
Taste: Lots of cereal. Tastes a little toasted even. Malty. No real hop bitterness. Just a harmless lager.
Palate: Pretty light body. Not watery, but very light. Short finish.
Overall: A pretty decent American lager. Nothing thatíll blow your mind, but a nice, refreshing, approachable lager.

2.6 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pale yellow in the glass, nearly no head and no aroma. The beer starts a fuller than expected. A bit grainy, not too sweet. The mainpart is a bit thin, slightly grainy, nearly no bitterness. The aftertaste is medium, slightly grainy, slightly sweet, highly drinkable and even slightly bitter in the end.
--> more taste than expected. nice lager-

1.2 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 4/20
In a few words: cat pee. Disappointing beer, since itís by far the most famous Argentinian beer with a lot of history behind. In the last 10 years itís been going from bad to worse. Almost undrinkable. I solely tolerate it because I grew up with it and I kind of got used to its metallic aftertaste

Forget it.

I was always very curious about this beer. I always read bad critics saying itís one of the worst beers, industrial, the example of pure mass production etc. Well, they were right. All I can say is there is no difference between drinking this beer and drinking a glass of water.

1.9 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
Pours yellow and fizzy. Thin white head. Sticky lacing. Not much on the nose. Flavor is malty sweet with slightly skunky citrus notes. Creamy mouthfeel. Lively carbonation. It's okay.

3 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 11/20
Appearance: Clear golden/light amber with finger thick white head which was quick to disappear.
Aroma: Floral, corn and pepper, note of citrus and honey/syrup.
Taste: Low/medium sweetness and bitterness, with medium sourness and slight saltiness.
Palate: Average/prickly carbonation, thick smooth texture and light body with an abrupt malty finish.
Comments: Tasty and refreshing but not the most flavoursome beer. Clean and crisp with a slight glass lace.
