I have a few Argentinian friends and I like them very much. However, I do not like their beer. I offered my friends some Cantillon gueuze and they did not like it aat all - so that sums up Argentinian beer tastes for me. Not a country for beer, sorry.

1.9 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 7/20
Bottle, 0.355l. Clear straw color with large frothy white head and sparkling appearance. Aroma is grainy, grassy, dusty and yeasty. Taste starts with light sweet grainy maltiness, following is slightly vinous, mouthfeel soon becomes spicy, while finish is light bitter. Light body, thin texture and fizzy carbonation in palate. Argentina’s famous dog piss??? And I know my rating is very generous, but I liked the aroma...

Bottle. This one is terrible. Gold I’m color with hardly any head. Both the aroma and taste had over welmng elements of corn. Just not good.

2 AROMA 3/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 8/20
This is the part I hate about trying to tick as many countries as possible--I have to drink a bunch of crappy pale lagers. This one is no exception. Aroma: Nearly zero. Taste: Sweetened grains with a subtle touch of citrus. Overall: Forgettable

1.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 3/10 PALATE 1/5 OVERALL 6/20
Bottle 0,355L. Clear, pale golden colour, with lively visible carbonation and small, frothy, white head. Aroma is quite strong for lager, but I can’t really find anything beside grain, bread and cereal. Taste? Not much taste here. Light sweet, watery industrial lager. Argentina’s famous beer. Pour Argentinians who have to drink this beer... But at least, I add a new country on my beer map.

Backlog. Tried it bottled a couple of times. Just your standard mass-produced lager. Nothing to get excited about.

A typical pissy lager. Maybe a hint of a tropical fruit hop in there somewhere. Or maybe I imagined it.
