Sampled at Malloco’s Oktoberfest Nice orangish amber color; small beige head. Smells of grain and some fruits. Flavor is somewhat fruity but watery.
almosi (279), Viña del Mar, Chile Dec 24, 2007 Has a cloudy amber color, with a big and abundant head.
The aroma is to fruits, with herbs and acid notes. The flavor is soft, with a beginning of herbs and hops, fresh.. But having ended there stays a dry, bitter aftertaste. Not special at all.
davidpl (398), Santiago, Chile Nov 30, 2007 Appearance: cloudy orange amber color. Great head, creamy color, medium persistency.
Aroma: malty, candy, fresh yeast and vanilla touch. Fruity like orange, peaches and tangerines.
Flavor: caramel malts, fresh yeasty with reminiscences of sponge cake, vanilla and cinnamon. A slight citric fruitiness of orange; and other fruits like peaches and peel of red apple. Slight dry-hoppy. Malty, yeasty and some mineralized aftertaste.
Palate: light to medium body, soft texture. Low carbonation.
Very nice amber beer, some complex, exquisite yeasty touch, refreshing. I would add more carbonation and a few of hops taste. Congratulations <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=38196>Redneck.
Panzerfaust (377), Santiago, Chile Nov 1, 2007 Sampled at Malloco’s Oktoberfest, Many thanks to <a href=http://www.ratebeer.com/ViewUser.asp?UserID=38196>Andrés, the brewer
Pours a hazy, beautiful amber color with a medium to big white head that is fairly lasting and leaves a nice film.
Aroma is fruity with a soft but deep hoppy presence. There are notes of tangerines, herbs, grass and spices.
Flavor is mild, fruity with again a lot of hops, especially in the end with shining saaz. A big mineral presence is noticeable too giving some paper taste. It tends to the sweeter side but ends bitter and herbal. Original and balanced.
Light bodied, refreshing with a medium carbonation. The finish is fruity and long, leaving a sweet aftertaste. Dry Amber. Easy to drink.
