3.1 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 13/20
Egg shaped, 75cl bottle. Pours cloudy orange, very active carbonation, tall foam. Aroma of oxidized malts, band-aids, and old citrus hops. Unfortunately I think this beer is past it’s prime. Decent body. Evidence of quality malts & hops. Finishes with a bit of a spicy tingle, either of the hops of the yeast. Definitely oxidized, bottle aged, hops aroma are gone. But the alias of Sparkling Ale does fit and seems more appropriate. (3953)

3.7 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours a hazy, deep gold with a light, cream head with lace. Nose is citrus and grapefruit, both subtle and pungent at the same time. A very meaty and savory pale ale -- it has the usual hops bitterness and citrus/flowery notes, but is much deeper and richer than many pale ales. Bitterness kicks up a notch on the finish. Very, very good.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
My rating probably just doesn’t give this beer it’s due, but I was let down a bit. Poured pretty enough, but the hops were way too spicy for me.

3.2 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 12/20
Very surprised to see this brewery on the shelves in Texas. According to the label this is the first Chilean brewery to be imported into the United States.
The beer pours a golden color with a white head. The aroma is off of grass with a hint of orange citrus. There is also some yeast notes coming through in the aroma. The flavor is very similar. There is a strong backbone of biscuit and pilsner malt, with some grass and orange peel. There is also a little bit of white pepper and some yeast. Medium mouthfeel and medium carbonation.
