Heavy aroma - spread across the room when the bottle is opened. Dark chocolate coloured with a lace after a couple of seconds. Tastes like a porter to my surprise with some burnt sugar. Leaves a slightly burnt aftertaste.

Aroma: Smelling of dark bread, figs, coffee and soy sauce.
Appearance: A black red tinted beer. A compact tan head with good lacing and some curtains.
Taste: Tasting sweet brown toasted bread, dark chocolate, coffee and vanilla.
Palate: Medium low carbonation, a soft and oily texture. A big body with a slightly dry finish.
Overall: A rather modest, but very welldone RIS.
Note: Bottle 500 ml. (Vintage 2013) Reviewed 2013-04-16.

(Bottle). Soft aromas of chocolate, cocoa and roasted malt. The taste is soft with flavors of chocolate, coffee with milk, and roasted malt. The aftertaste has a slightly fruity tone and tangy bitterness that takes over the taste too much, it’s sad and it lowers the score slightly.

0.5 L bottle, kindly shared by KnutAlbert. A brown layer of bubbles, covering an unclear dark brown body. Chocolate malts, dark dried fruits and toasted grainy malts in the aroma. Cocoa/chocolate is dominating the flavor as well. Some fine fruit tones in a addition, and hint of sour/ashy and bready tones. Light sweet and well-bodied. Thick mouthfeel. Fruity acidic endnotes. A pretty good one.

courtesy of Per - black beer under a modest foam left; pretty roasted nose with notes of black chocolate, nougat and tar; medium-bodied, some sweetness; a corny tartness and slightly dry; some notes of burned plastic and more chocolatey notes in the finish

Small beige head. Opaque black body. Chocolatey toasted grain aroma with earthy notes. Dry-acidic roasty chocolate taste with earthy blackberry notes. Mid-bodied. Mild mouthfeel. Dry-acidic toasted grain, blackberry and earth aftertaste with sooty notes. Too acidic, otherwise great. (0.5l bottle, shared by KnutAlbert.)

Good as hell! very tasty and very smell. The aftertaste is like a punch in the stomach. Yes absolutely wonderful it is, but it made a great deal to be perfect. Cloudy host to test if you manage to come across a bottle. This is my 200 beer i rate here at Rate Beer.
