3.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 15/20
Bottle. Pours cloudy very dark brown with airy tan head. Clear aroma of malt and caramel, with roasty touches. Sweetish flavour of malt and caramel, with hints of roast, coffee beans, dark chocolate and liquorice. Roasty and sourish aftertaste of coffe ebeans, with subtle sweetish notes. Body tinner than expected but it is okay. Nice.

3.9 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 18/20
Bottle, 7.8%. Vinous aroma, creamy with a hint of vanilla. Black colour. Small stable brown head. The flavour is roasted, sweetish with a mild vanilla note. There is a little alcohol bitterness in the finish along with a roasted barley bitterness. Late creamy aftertaste. Thin mouthfeel for the ABV, but it works out all right for me. Not as fat as some other strong porters.

4 AROMA 8/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 4/5 OVERALL 16/20
Kolsvart med litet ljusbrunt skum! Massor med choklad och kaffe i både doft och smak! Lite rökig och perfekt balans! Lättdrucken och väldigt len i munnen! Riktigt bra porter! Batch 258/0107

3.1 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Roasted and chocolate in the aroma. Lots of chocolate in the taste. A thin head that quickly disappears. Thin mouthfeel and a bit watery. Fun to try but nothing I will buy again. An ok beer.

3.8 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 8/10 PALATE 5/5 OVERALL 16/20
Not much aroma. Some caramell, smokieness and the typical porter tartness. At the opening of the bottle there were some cherry as well.
Dark brown with beige head
Begins sweet and a bit tart, then there is an interesting combination of caramell and bitterness. The finish is long lasting, bitter and coffe-y.
Full body, soft carbonation and creamy texture
A nice porter that could have done with some more aroma.

Medium bodied, fine carbonation, light roast in the finish.
Ok impy porter but doesn’t hold much depth, wouldn’t revisit.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle shared at The Kernel, London - thanks to Colin for this brewski. Pours clearish brown with a big, khaki head. Light tangy dark malts in the nose, a bit of burnt wood. Light to medium sweet flavor with wet wood, chocolate, tangy dried fruits. Medium bodied with fine to average carbonation. Sweet finish with still more tangy dark fruits, faint baking cocoa. I don’t think the condition is ideal but it’s still an interesting offering.
