Aroma: Smelling of burned bread, ripe apples, cardamom and egg yolk.
Appearance: A foggy amber colored beer. A low off-white head with some lacing and good curtains.
Taste: Tasting brown bread, sweet grape-fruit marmalade, spices and grass.
Palate: Medium carbonation, a soft texture. A big body with a slightly dry finish.
Overall: Very heavy malt character, nut really fused with the hops.

Bottle (50 cl swing-top from Systembolaget. Shady deep copper, medium tan head. Fruity, nutty and slightly chocolatey malt aroma, some floral hops. Medium bodied, medium carbonation. Semi dry with medium bitterness.

Bottled (thanks omhper!). Slightly hazy pale coppery colour with a huge beige foamy head, that leaves some lace. Aroma is fruity, floral mild soapy/parfumeish notes as well as some slight sweet maltyness. Flavour is fruity, floral, quite bitter with some slight sweet maltyness as well. Nice berryish and floral bitterness in the aftertaste.

A bit hazy amber with a medium fluffy head. Sweet with bread, berries, caramel and malt. Pleasant mouth feel and a nicely drinkable beer.

500ml swing-top bottle from e-beställning at Systembolaget. Served by Finn at a fine drinking temperature as the last beer during a rating session. Bubbly, off-white head that laces well. Deep, dark amber body. Sediments to the last pour. Caramel malts with dark fruits to the nose. Well blended flavour of caramel, chocolate and dark bittering fruits towards the ending. Brit bitter impression, quite well bodied. Good drinking (Shared with Finn, Tromsø 23.08.2012).
