Papsoe’s tasting, courtesy of yespr. Copper pour with light tan head. Aroma is somewhat malty and spicy. More spice comes out in the taste along with some biscuity malts. A touch light on the palate with a clean, slightly sweet finish.

Botella. Pours a clear dark amber-brown colour with a medium mostly diminishing off-white head. Sweet toasty caramel and malty aroma with some bit of dark fruits. Good mouthfeel. The flavour is sweet with toasted caramel and malt along with a bit of dark fruits and bread. Not bad at all. Thank you Gagai.

Red-brown with pearly carbonation and a huge, nice and creamy head. the aroma has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, nuts and caramel. The flavour has a light sweetness, notes of roasted malt, caramel, hints of candy sugar and nuts and the finish has a citrussy bitterness. It’s a pity, that this was the last Rækker Mølle, they were among the better Danish micro’s.

Bottle. Clear medium amber color with a average, frothy, fair lacing, fully diminishing, off-white head. Aroma is moderate malty, roasted, notes of sulphur. Flavor is moderate sweet with a average duration. Body is light to medium to medium, texture is watery to oily, carbonation is soft. (100308)
