hopscotch (4399), Vero Beach, Florida, USA May 7, 2006 Draft... Hazy, very light yellow ale with a small, creamy, white head. The nose is mostly nondescript... very mild yeast and citrus. Soapy, lightly sweet flavor with very mild citrus (lemon) tanginess. Medium-bodied with a creamy mouthfeel and lively carbonation. Finishes crisp, but grainy as well. Glouglouburp (1876), Montreal, Quebec, Canada Apr 21, 2006 Cloudy yellow body topped by a long lasting white-head. Generic witbier. Wheat and cirtrus aroma, wheat and citrus taste. Very watery body but after all, the place is called the Reservoir!!!. They must have changed the recipe because I seem to remember a bit more complexity (coriander and other spices). The pint I had was very boring and generic, the type of bland beer one could expect from a place like Les 3 Brasseurs. I’ll wait a few months and give it another try. Draft at brewpub. red éric (1379), montréal, Quebec, Canada Mar 9, 2006 Hazy honey gold hue, with a frothy white head, with a yeasty, and an evident zesty citrus fruits note, and spicy aroma follows through on a medium-bodied palate with a nice fruity character of citrus fruits, mangos, tangerines, with a spicy coriander accent, wheaty note, leading towards a refreshing zesty and yeasty finish. CapFlu (3249), Victoria, British Columbia, Canada Nov 6, 2005 (Draught) Half-pint ($4) purchased at the Reservoir Brewpub on November 4, 2005. Thin, white, quick-dissipating head with a cloudy, yellow-hazed body. Mild banana nose. Thin, wheaty, bananas not desirable but perhaps quaffable when in a pinch. Dickinsonbeer (2505), Hoboken, New Jersey, USA Sep 24, 2005 Pours a cloudy blonde with a thin head and some lace. Aroma is sweet with light citrus/lemon. Flavor is slightly sweet with a good amount of wheat, but not complex at all. Low carbonation, light body, and a slightly salty finish. Also had a bit of acidity and finished quite tart, but clean overall.
