Commercial Description:
A dark ale with a light refreshing palate. Northwestern hops are utilised to accentuate the aroma and are well balanced with a combination of North American malts expertly blended to create a truly drinkable and flavourful brew.

Crap beer, worst of the tap selection at Steam Works... at least it isn’t their own beer. This shouldn’t even be on tap imo. Light brown brew with red hues with a light tan head that has some retention. Dark fruit, alcohol smell... this is really off. Taste is medicinal somehow, weak pine, unwelcome alcohol, light spice, caramel, something here doesn’t fit at all. This cannot be blamed on a bad bottle - it’s on tap!

Pours with a red/brown colour and a large bubbly head, which falls off quite quickly. Aroma is malty as is the taste, although it seems somwwhat thin and watery. Not the finest cream ale I’ve had.

Poured at JW77’s tasting. Amber pour. Light head. BORING. BORING. Oh yeah, boring. Malty aroma. Boring malty flavor. Skip it.

Draft. Poured a clear amber color with an off white head. Not much aroma other than some subdued pale maltiness. Light bodied and dry with a spicy malt note accented by nuts and a hint of peat. More like an amber ale than a cream ale.

Brown color. Light aroma, not interesting, almost cardboard. Caramel flavor, no Cream here... Boring.

Nice light brown color. Light aroma of Asian kitchen (?). It has just a plain favor, caramel and roasted malt, dry mouthfeel, dirty water? No interest.

Bright copper-red, moderate eggshell head. Sweet caramel aroma, mild earthy dried-leaf hop aroma. Sweet caramel, mildly roasted (toasty) flavour, a little nutty, and the same mild earthy hop finish. Nicely balanced with a really nice flavour to the malts here. A pleasant surprise really.

Bottle (22oz). Shared by blankboy with GregClow, jerc and tupalev. Clear ruby-amber pour with an average off-white head. Odd but interesting aroma, floral hops and sweet caramel malt; bordered on perfumey. Very light taste indeed, sweet, only a hint of alcohol, quite floral in the finish. But the mouthfeel is watery, wan and pretty much not there - a little earthiness perhaps, but unbelievably dull overall.

Bottle shared with tupalev, blankboy, HogTownHarry & jerc - blankboy’s bottle. Mahogany colour with a small head. Aroma is malty, a bit sweet, not bad. Medium bodied. Flavour is mellow and balanced, with earthy malt and mild tea-like hops. Pleasant stuff.
