On tap at The Railway Club, pours a clear pale golden yellow with a small white head. Aroma brings out notes of straw and grass -- pretty typical for a pilsner. Flavour is along the same lines, with notes of grass, straw and a decent bite. Decent pilsner, but more like a standard lager in taste. Decent.

On tap. It pours a lightly hazy, golden body and a small, white head leaving some lacings. Malty nose, mostly, but there’s also some fruityness going on. All weak. The same goes for the flavor, where there’s also some bitterness, but in my opinion, not enough. Ok, so the bitterness balances the sweetness, but it’s not very bohemian in any way actually. Medium body with a decent level of carbonation. Decent indeed, not very Bohemian, but sure better than your average pale lager. 130703

Hazy blond color. Light paper aroma. The flavor is so and so, some malt and some corn, definitively missing the crispy character of a true beer. Correct bitterness. Simple.

Straw-gold with little head. Aroma of sweet grass, fresh mild grain, light herbal character and hop bite. Taste is sweet, lmild bitterness with a light body, fine carbonation and crisp finish. A refreshing local lager.

Bottle. Clear golden with scant head. Aroma is nutty with slight skunk. Soft palate. Nice nutty flavors. The hops should be brighter but are on the right track. Solid malts. Has potential.

On tap. Looks like a pilsener. Clear and gold with a nice head that disappears quickly. Little laciing. Initial aroma is yeasty but that disappears quickly as well. Malt is a little light in comparison to mos Czech Pils I’ve had before. Well balanced with crisp hop flavour. Pretty clean.

Bottle shared with mabel & jerc. Rich golden colour with a small, creamy white head. Nice aroma - there’s a vegetal character, but not cooked or stale, but nice and fresh with a pleasant herbal note. Medium bodied with a soft level of carbonation. Flavour of sweet honey and orange, with nice noble hops and a long bitterness to finish. Quite enjoyable.

[1785-20081015] 341mL bottle. Strong fresh celery and pasta sauce with tomato and herbs aroma. Clear, yellow orange body with a quick creamy white head. Grainy mildly hoppy yeast flavour, but there is something not happy on my tongue, like a cheap chemical. Medium body finishes dry. It could be the hops that feel weird.

2008-10-15. Golden yellow with a small white head that fades. Interesting florals and hop character, light veg notes. Light bitterness and more floral noble hops in the flavour, light pale malts. Average palate. Decent beer but not to my tastes.
