COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
Formerly Hop Goblin until Wychwood sued the brewery. Seriously. Well balanced with a skillful combo of 5 hop varieties and premium english malt. At more than 45 IBUs this beer has a mild hoppy aroma followed with aggressive hop bitterness

Poured a clouded copper-orange with a big white head. Nose of bitter hops and weak malts. Overall, the beer is unspectacular, especially compared to its label and name.

Rating #939 - Jan 25th, 2014 - Bottle from Coop. Love hop puns so naturally this caught my eye. Clear golden amber pour with a weak, white head that bubbles away to a ring. Aroma is strong with hoppy overtones, pine, resin, lemon. Taste is more of the same, dry hops and cakey malts dominating the flavour, with a dose of citrus zest and piney sweet notes. Nice.

Japalo (1046) - DENMARK - OCT 3, 2013
Tap@Gotham Vancouver. One finger foam. Slight hazy. Golden. Fine herbal to fruity notes. Not a very intense bitterness. Guess a lot of like this hoppy but easy drinkable steak brew. Fine for me too.

Bomber poured a hazy amber with a small lasting ambe head. Aromas of biscuit, lemon zest, grapefruit, pine and light earthiness. Palate was medium bodied and smooth with a dry finish.Flavors of biuscuit, earthiness, citrus and light pine with a smooth dry lightly bitter finish.

650ml bottle pours a golden orange color with a finger of white head that leaves some thin spotty lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild citrus and flowers with mild toasty malts. Taste is moderate hop bitterness with a light malt sweetness underneath. Medium body with some decent carbonation. Overall, an average IPA that is fairly easy to drink and a good place for those interested in this style to start with.

Unclear amber orange, big creamy off white head lasts. Mild hoppy aroma. Medium bitter hop taste dominates, soft malt background. Light to medium body, lively carbonation. Light bitter citrus finish. Basic. LBW (Lagerboys Be Wary)

crisp hops, and Great colour. Aroma is a bit thin for an ipa. As it warms the malts come on more and it is less initial hoppyness, there is always a pleasant hop on the back end, but it may be a bit too much for some. Not a bad go-to thirst quencher, if can get it at the beer store.

sulawang (544) - British Columbia, CANADA - JAN 7, 2012
pours golden orange, thick sizable head, foamy retention, micro CO2, many CO2 streams. Tangerine and hops on the nose. Silky mouthfeel, creamy medium bitter orange up front, 5/10 sweetness, long lingering off-dry ipa finish. Medium complexity, medium depth, long length, decent carry. Similar flavour profile to Torpedo extra ipa but not as citrus fragrant or deep.
