A dark ale with a light refreshing palate. Northwestern hops are utilised to accentuate the aroma and are well balanced with a combination of North American malts expertly blended to create a truly drinkable and flavourful brew.

On tap. Pours a hazy brown with moderate head. Aromas of nuts and dusty malts. Flavors are similar but with distinct cardboard notes.

Slight caramel with a chocolate aroma, dark brown appearance with a finger65 width white chocolate colour head. Not really an earthy taste probably due to its cream ale brewing but a satisfying malty and smooth taste. Fairly clean on the palate. I purchased a bottle in a 650 ml bottle and was quite satisfied with it. Surprised how dark the cream ale was. Would probably buy another.

Had this on tap in a hotel lobby. Pretty approachable stuff. Pours a deep brown/copper with a creamy off white head. Nice malty finish. Ok stuff. ---Rated via Beer Buddy for iPhone

Very smooth cream ale, a little watery but altogether tasty and drinkable. Pours brown red with some mild cream head. Tastes of general beer, a little weak but no real complaints here.

Bottle, 341ml. A brown one, topped by a dense, off-white to beige head of moderate size. Caramel, tending towards toffee in the aroma. Not butterscotch, but borderline. The same goes for the flavor, itís also equally boring and uninteresting. Super smooth on the palate, although a bit thin. I hope for a real cream ale when ordering this one, just for the tick, so I got sort of disappointed in that way, but even though itís very boring and one tracked, itís sure a drinkable beer. Canít imagine Iíll have another one though. 130703

650ml bottle listed at 4.8%ABV pours a slightly hazy light brown color with a finger of white head that leaves only a little bit of lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild chocolate and light fruits with some earthy and citrus hop notes. Taste is light chocolate malty and fruit sweetness with some citrus and earthy hop bitterness. Light to medium body with some decent carbonation. One of the better cream ales that I have sampled to date, but seems to be more characteristic of a brown ale.

Deep dark copper, creamy tan head lasts, leaving light definitive stepped lacing. Sweet malty aroma. Mild roasted caramel malt taste, some dark fruitiness, no hops to be found here. Soft carbonation, light bodied, a little thin. Clean dry finish. One dimensional. LF (Lagerboy Friendly)

650ml brown bottle. 4.8% abv as per label. Clear red brown colour, thin but creamy tan cap, very minimal lacing. Nose is chocolatey, toasty, some raisin fruit and light toffee. Taste has chocolate and toasted malts, caramel, a little fruitiness mid way through, finishes with some metallic notes, light earth, roasty and dries out quite a bit. Average body and carbonation. Actually pretty drinkable, better than expecting, reminds me more of a brown ale.
