COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION
A dark ale with a light refreshing palate. Northwestern hops are utilised to accentuate the aroma and are well balanced with a combination of North American malts expertly blended to create a truly drinkable and flavourful brew.

A thin, tan head disappears quickly. Itís a dark, caramel brown. It has a slightly malty nose and provided a surprisingly robust initial sip, but it doesnít last long with you. Thereís a biscuit-like maltiness to the flavour. Itís not bad, but thereís nothing exceptional about it. The alcohol content on the bottle I had was 4.8%.

bottle. Poured reddish-brown with a thin tan head. Malt aroma, rye bread. Medium-light bodied with low carbonation and a slightly sour finish. Flavour of toasted malt, oaky, spicy hops. Lingering finish.

Poured from bottle, can from BC craft mixer pack. Murky brown, with slight redness. Small thin head that disappeared quickly. Sweet malt aroma, with nut, and caramel. Same flavour, but quickly turns almost sour. Medium mouthfeel, but seemed very flat. Hardly any bitterness, but that sourness is hard to swallow.

Well sweet baby Jesus, if this beer just ainít broken. Honestly, just imagine -- you get your beer stuffed into a 6 pack sampler thatís catapulted to Ontario & of all the beers in the box yours is the worst. How bad is it? Read the reviews below. This beer is 28 Days Later infected, the pour dumps toxic dark with no head. The smell is vinegar & the taste is awful. This beer is bad & judging by the reviews here its chronic. Someone owes me a beer. Drain pour. Avoid (give to your brother or father in law etc).

When I drank this, I didnít think it was a Mild. More of an amber ale. Brownish red with an beige lacy head. Smells of caramel with soft toffee, floral hops, and some chocolate raisin notes. Medium thin light body. Light taste of alcohol with a soft earthiness, roast, caramel and some metallic notes. Light for a mild. A bit boring

Part of the BC Craft Brewers Guild Natural Selections 6 pack (2014). Pours a hazy copper colour with red highlights. The head is creamy, beige, lasts long and lacing is creamy, thick as well. Aromas of nutty malts, raisins, caramel, dates, spicy yeast and sugars. The taste is much milder, watered-down. Very light roasted malts with some sourness in the middle (light infection ?). Not sure about hitting the style. Seems more like a fruity rousse.

Pours dark brown with a moderate pillowy beige head. Aroma is chocolate malt with earthy malts. Taste is a blend of earthy malt, almost a molasses. Profile is a little all over the place.

Pours a clear mahogany with a beige head. Aromas of raisin, dark sugar, caramel, dates, light molasses, and notes that make me think "spiced ale". As for taste, light bodied, and slightly watery with a strange sour note out of the gates, dried fruits, light bitterness, and light spice up front that leads into nutty, dark fruit, hard water, and light woody notes. Underneath that sour note that doesnít quite belong, thereís a very sessionable beer here.

Pours dark color with minimal white head that disappears quickly unfortunately. Texture is somewhat creamy and thick, and carbonation is non existent. That being said, tastes great. Not overly heavy so its good to drink on summer days. Doesnít have any rough after taste. Bit of butter scotch flavor to it, but not too sweet.

341 ml bottle from LCBO (part of Natural Selection BC Craft Brewers Sampler Pack). Pours a darkish orangey brown with thin off-white head. Aroma is sweetish caramel, a little chocolate and light nuts. Flavour is caramel/toffee, some crusty bread, hints of chocolate and a mellow nuttiness. On the thin side. Very light carbonation. Forgettable.
