2.6 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Okay wheat style look and smell, but needs more head and a stronger profile on the nose. Highly drinkable but not memorable - lacking complexity, it went down well in a bar but didn’t linger on the tongue. Medium finish. Just okay.

2.4 AROMA 2/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 10/20
Not the most inspiring beer out there. Light and easy to drink (only 4.2%). It actually tastes slightly like a commercial beer... a bit of a chemical taste to it. Light golden color... for the price, I don’t think I’ll be buying another one of these.

2.9 AROMA 6/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 12/20
650ml bottle pours a slightly hazy golden color with a finger of white head which leaves only a few specks of lacing on the glass. Aroma is mild citrus and cereal grains. Taste is light malty sweetness with a mild grassy and citrusy hop bitterness. Light bodied with modest carbonation. Overall, a very mild and easy drinking wheat ale that is refreshing, but not near the best for the style.

2.2 AROMA 5/10 APPEARANCE 2/5 TASTE 4/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 9/20
Draught at Hamilton Street Grill, Vancouver
Hazy pale blond color. Mild, breadish aroma. Sweetish and smooth mouthfeel in the front, drier and lightly nutty in the end; low bitterness. Bland and boring.

3.3 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 4/5 TASTE 6/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 13/20
Colour: slightly cloudy dark yellow with just the tiniest touch of orange. Low head. Nose: Wheaty blast, followed by currents of peach, vanilla, bitter citrus fruit, and a charge of heavy apple late. Taste: Light sweet, light bitter, medium sour. No sense straying from the nose; again a wheaty blast that this time stays around the entire palate and hangs on for a dying moment after all is said and done. Fighting for a say is some distant banana and paprika. This one sure is what it says it is.

2.5 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 11/20
It pours a golden color with a 2 finger white head that vanishes to a cap. It has quite a bit of carbonation and some small spots of lacing.
On the nose there isn’t much to report. I am getting some light wheat notes and a little citrus.
The flavor is dominated by sweetness. I am getting some wheat and a some honey, cereal notes. As far as a wheat goes it’s not bringing a very balanced profile. It feels almost similar to something the larger brewers would do.
It finishes with some faint grassy hops but still nothing to balance out the sweetness. This is the first thing I have tried from these guys. Not overly impressed. Out of all the wheat beers I have ever tried it’s below average.

2.7 AROMA 4/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 5/10 PALATE 2/5 OVERALL 13/20
Bottle. slightly hazy golden, average white head, no lace. Aroma is low-key wheat, a little sweaty. Flavour is plain wheat, albeit clean, with hints of citrus that really came forward when paired with the herb-crusted telapia. Decent wheat I guess, but pretty unremarkable. Not enough to return to.

2.7 AROMA 7/10 APPEARANCE 3/5 TASTE 7/10 PALATE 3/5 OVERALL 7/20
Had a couple of these last night (out of a plastic cup), and they were quite enjoyable. Colour was a nice, clear medium gold with a slight foamy white head. Aroma was mild and the taste was clean, with a tiny sweetness, I guess being the wheat influence.
