COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English:Brewed with an American inspiration and hence brewed using the American hops Cascade and Centennial which give the beer a spicy and citrusy note. The cascade hops contributes a hint of elder flower. The bitterness is balanced by quite some residual sweetness, which makes the beer full-bodied and fruity. The beer is suited for heavy and fat dishes where the hops and carbonation gives a nice balance, but it is also well suited for grilled meats and sandwiches.

Bottle @ Rene’s house. Thanks! Somewhat hazy, reddish orange appearance with a big, tan head. Dull grapefruit, tropical fruit hoppy, floral, a bit woody aroma. Woody, a bit tangy, slightly toasty malty, orange citrusy flavor. A little too old but still not all that bad.

Bottle. Pours a hazy reddish amber with a nice beige/khaki head. Slight lacing. Sweet, tartish, fruity and fat hop aroma. Malty note as it warms. Bitter hop flavour, fruity, remote note of plastic. Quite bitter finish, lingering with a slight apple note, almost masked by the bitterness. Dry. Overall okay, but the bitterness feels somewhat unbalanced. 31.01.12.

The aroma is slightly acidic, with clear elements of berries and fruit. In the scent there is a special tone that is both sweet and acrid acidic (a bit like a detergent but in a positive way), and it reminds me for some reason of a "Kriek". The taste is very fruity and berry and it has a nice dry bitterness. Hop flavors such as citrus and pine emerges well in the taste. A very, very nice beer!

laiti (3925) - Tampere, FINLAND - SEP 29, 2011
Draught @ Man in the Moon, Stockholm. Rated on 14.05.2011
A lot of fruits and hops in the aroma. The flavour is also fruity and hoppy, but a bit too straightforward like the single hops tend to be. Still, rather good stuff especially when looking at the ABV.
