English: An American pale ale brewed with lots of pale ale malt and a hint of caramel malt. This combination gives it a nice reddish golden color and the beer is very clear in the glass. The beer is hopped using the American hops Chinook, Palisade and Amarillo, which give the beer a light bitterness and a strong aroma which is further enhanced by the dry hopping.

Grabbed a small bottle at Spinnakers in Victoria, BC... the distribution map shows this to be the first time this brewery’s product has been available outside Denmark? Light amber white head. Amarillo tangerine is apparent in the nose, blended well with the caramel. Caramel and citrus flavour. Palate is on the light side. Authentic.

50 cl. flaske. 5,0 %. En flot nærmest orange farvet øl. En lille smule bitter. Men rigtig god og hyggelig til lidt lækkert grill-mad

Bottle. Pours hazy orange-yellow with huge foamy head. Aroma is hops, grass, flowers, yoghurt, peach, banana, soap, dried rose leaves and hints of grain. Taste is medium to heavy acidic, medium bitter and light sweet. Body is light oily with fizzy carbonation. Finish is long and medium bitter with notes of flowers, grass, cereal, yoghurt and fruit.

A very drinkable brew with a somewhat somplex bitterness, which really doesn’t seem necessary. The Amarillo and Palisade hops work well together, but I think the Chinook divides the water here. I see what they’re trying do to though, and this IS by any means a mans beer. Way to bitter for the general female buds, and without the soothing sweetness of Cascade hops or thath elder flavor that tends to dominate the finer american hoppy crafts. A brilliant thirst-quencher for the barbecue, but more than two of these will spark a headache like it’s a cheap danish macro. Overall it’s just a damn fine beer to go along with your chili or grilled brisket, on a hot summer day. Not perfection, but very well done.

Ok. Pours with good head and lacing, Brownish orange in colour. Some piney hops and a bit of grass, but can’t taste a lot of the amarillo hops. Some malt in aroma. Finishes a little bitter and sour, balance is ok. Bottle from Spinnakers.

Samled at SBWF, 2011. Beige head and solid golden color. Very nice fresh american hop aroma from Amarillo and Chinook hops. Dry and crisp hoppy taste with just a tuch of light caramell . Perfect thirst quencher and still very fine taste.
