English: Another beer inspired by the strong Belgian Ales. There has been used 5 different malts, corn, dark cane sugar, and a lot of dark candy sugar. Very lightly hopped with Tettnanger.

Bottle at home. Brown with a light brown had, some lacings. Aroma moderate/heravy malty (caramel, brown sugar, dark fruits, chocolate), light hoppy. Flavor moderate/heavy sweet, light bitter. Medium body., normal carbonated. A good Christmas Ale for goodies.

UPDATED: NOV 25, 2006 Pours dark red mahogany with little film head. Aroma of plums, sweet dark malts and christmas spice. Extremely sweet, thick oily mouthfeel with flavours of plums and sweet malts - some liquorice and chocolate. Abit too sweet for my liking.

Bottle. Brown high and lasting head. Hazy dark red body. Sweet coffee cocoa aroma. Very sweet coffee sugar flavor. The sweetness conceals the high alcohol percentage well.

UPDATED: JAN 27, 2010 On tap at Horsens Beerfestival. Dark brown, unclear with a beige head. Dried fruits, sugar and caramel in the aroma. The flavor is sugar, caramel, some malt and spices. Full-bodied, too sweet beer, yet nice. Rating: 6-4-6-4-13-3.3. 061028

On tap at Esbjerg Beerfestival. It’s a hazy, orange-brown beer with a small, white head. Almost syrupy on the nose, not really my idea of Christmas, but far from bad. Some spices and fruits lifts the score. Sweet and malty flavor with spice notes, fruits and a little bitterness. Medium body, quite warm. Cinnamon, sweetness and alcohol in the finish. Overall, a bit anonymous, un-Christmasy and too warm, else it’s nice. 091022
