COMMERCIAL DESCRIPTION

English: Another beer inspired by the strong Belgian Ales. There has been used 5 different malts, corn, dark cane sugar, and a lot of dark candy sugar. Very lightly hopped with Tettnanger.

pours a hazy dark reddish-brown colour and fast fading foam; very malty, cookie-like nose with soe overmatured red fruits in the background; sweet and very sticky with a powerful malt body; very long malty and biscuity finish - good though a bit too heavy

Belgo (154) - Køge, DENMARK - NOV 22, 2005
Pours dark reddish brown. Aromas of oranges, sweet malt and belgian yeast. Extremely full-bodied mouthfeel and a taste of malt, spices and candy sugar. A very good Christmas beer, but perhaps too heavy to be sold only in 500 ml bottles.

Pours dark brown with an orange gleam and a fine tan head. Malt and spices aroma with dusty and herby tones and a warming note of alcohol. Lots of malt in the flavor with red berry notes. Spices in there as well and a good bitterness from the hops. Soft mouthfeel with a rather watery finish. Well balanced. Definately one of the better christmas beers from Denmark. I like this new brewery.
