English: Another beer inspired by the strong Belgian Ales. There has been used 5 different malts, corn, dark cane sugar, and a lot of dark candy sugar. Very lightly hopped with Tettnanger.

Bottle, Essen Kerstbierfestival 2011. Brown coloured beer with almost no carbonation and a small brown head. Complex aged herby and spicy hinted aroma with touches of yeasts and roasted malts. Full palate. Finish is bitter yeasty with a long dry matured slightly roaste touch. Very good.

A straight forwars belgium strong ale. Alkohol overtones that carries coriander, yeast, suger and saaz. Nothing to write home about but nothing wrong either. The best thing is the grassy bitterness the lingers through all the way.

0.33l 2010-bottle. A near clear copper body with a small bubbly and sidesticking just off-white head. It has a light sourness in the aroma, but also some candy sugar, bubblegum and both banana, Belgian yeast and strawberry-caramel tones. Not to Christmasy actually, but nice enough. Soft carbonation level and a mild oily mouthfeel. More bubblegum flavors, caramel, yeast and it ends really really mouthdrying. Glad I got the chance to try this one.

Tap (2011 vers.). Pours hazy dark golden with a little white head. Spicy nose of anise and caramel notes. Sweet flavor with caramel, berries and spices like star anis and coriander. Medium bodied, average carbonation and watery to creamy texture. Ends up more dry with a little bitterness. A decent Danish christmas ale.

Dark brownish-red / dark amber color, beige head. Smell is sweet, like some sort of candy but I don’t quite know which. Decent taste, average carbo and medium body. Decent beer, but nothing really special.
